Adrian Gunning - organ (St John the Evangelist, Duncan Terrace, Islington) Experience the different moods of the splendid Hill organ in the magnificent acoustic of Arundel Cathedral. The international organist Adrian Gunning starts his recital with Nigel Allcoat's Intrada and ends with Alain's Le Jardin Suspendu and Litanies. The programme in two parts also consists of music from Demessieux's Twelve Choral-Preludes on Gregorian Chant Themes, three pieces from L'Orgue Mystique by Tournemire, Continuum by Iain Quinn, Cloches by Marcel Fournier and Paean by Howells. |
